Dear Jew in the City
I've watched many of your videos and have noticed how nice your "frum" clothes are (you look so pretty in these videos, by the way). Since I converted (not Orthodox), I'm trying to dress a little more modestly these days. It just feels more appropriate, especially since I've had 2 kids and am now in my mid thirties. Are there any clothing stores you can recommend? I don't live in NY. thank you

Thanks for your comment, Flora. I was probably not so clear when I wrote that. What I meant was after they had their after school snack and dinner was not quite finished yet - basically, I thought they were satiated from what they had eaten (they wouldn't tell me they were still hungry, but obviously were) in those moments, the tiniest triggers would set them off.

Lovely post, although I don't understand, "too early for dinner, too late for a snack." I don't see why dinner can't come early or a snack late when kids are hungry enough to not feel good.
Daily rhythms are good and most of us thrive on them, but I see them as a support to thriving, not a rigid rule.

I am the one afflicted with food moods, my husband with mess induced anger. (although i have also been blessed with complete impatience too).
