Thanksgiving Food for Thought

To say that my six-year-old daughter is a picky eater would be an understate-ment of gastric proportions. If you wanted to count all the known foods in the universe she consumes you'd need only two hands and a couple of toes. One of the reasons this persnickety child eats such little variety is her unwillingness to try new things.

Some Updates on JewintheCity.com

Hey there JITC friends and fans! There are some exciting changes coming to JewintheCity.com. We've been tweaking the current site to make it more user-friendly and stylin'. There will be a bunch of new social media and subscribe buttons you will find at the top of the new site as well as a search engine that actually works! Each post will end with related posts; and watch out for a new section called "articles" where all of the posts with beginnings, middles, and ends (the ones with stories and lessons) will soon be housed.

Be Our Guest

The other day, as I was standing in the check out line at one of my favorite clothes stores, I noticed that the saleswoman behind the counter kept asking the next "guest" to step forward. "Guest?!"
