I am really good at apologizing to people I barely know and even better at apologizing to total strangers. I really am. Like if I bump into someone in a store or if my kid says something rude to a passerby, I'm all over it. With business relationships, likewise, if there is ever a misunderstanding or a difference in expectations that arise, I can be conciliatory, repentant, contrite, like you wouldn't believe.

Dear Jew in the City-
Thanks a million for your video, "Jewish Women...Dirrty?" which explains a lot. However, after watching it, I still have a question, which maybe you can answer for me. A friend of mine (an observant Orthodox Jew) told me, that during the time of the month that she and her husband don't touch, they literally don't touch at all or even pass each other any item directly (when she needs to pass an item to her husband she needs to put it in front of him on a desk or something. He can only take the item when she's not touching it any more).

Is it just me, or does megilla reading on
Purim unleash your inner A.D.D. too? One of the basic requirements of the Purim holiday is to attend two megilla readings (one at night and one during the day), which you can only fulfill if you've heard every single word that was chanted during the readings. Sitting quietly for forty minutes straight, twice in two days, is challenging enough as it is, but knowing that I have to pay attention the entire time, immediately makes my mind want to do the exact opposite. (Don't think of that purple elephant!)
